Meeting Rooms

Harry’s Room, the small study room and our study kiosk are available.

Please call or visit the library and provide:

Your first and last name.
Phone number and email address.
Library card number. (If you are not a member of the library this is not required.)

Room use is limited to 1.5 hour blocks and the rooms need to be vacant for 30 minutes between uses.
1 user may use the study kiosk.
Up to 20 people are able to use Harry’s Room.
1-2 users may use the small study room.

Harry’s is a larger, multipurpose space which can be set in several ways. There is a TV – type screen which can be connected to your laptop for presentations, if necessary.

B.6    Meeting Room Policy

  1. Public use of the meeting room is intended for use by groups for gatherings of a civic, cultural or educational nature during library hours of operation. The room is available free of charge for non-profit purposes. For all other uses, there is a fee as set by the library board. (See below )
  2. Use of the meeting room does not imply the Library’s endorsement of the beliefs of groups using the meeting room.
  3. Meetings must comply with fire safety regulation; maximum occupancy will be 32 people. Persons using the Library’s meeting rooms must comply with all federal, provincial, and municipal legislation.
  4. Regular monthly Library board meetings take precedence over all other meetings.

The fee for use by groups as stated above is $50 for up to three hours.
